Themixtape.net is the site where all my music can be found.

I've made a ton of music since I first started playing it in the late 80s (literally, hundreds of songs). Early on, I recorded a lot of them on a piece-of-shit Tascam Porta 03 four-track tape recorder that I got for Christmas in 1992. Those recordings (at least 80% of them) are horribly recorded and sloppily performed, and will probably never be heard in their original context by anyone but me. :)

In the late 90s I finally got a good computer and taught myself the basics of playing keyboards and MIDI sequencing, and later, audio recording with computers. Sound quality was drastically improved.

Since that crash course in computer recording & sequencing, I wrote, recorded and completed fifteen solo records (CDs) of various musical genres and styles (from punk to hip-hop, trance to shoegaze, noise-rock to ambient, you name it). All of that music can be found at the link above.

Anyway, the site also features free mp3 downloads of all of the demo tapes and CDs I've made with bands I've been in (at professional recording studios or self-produced), plus much more (including a bunch of those horrible cassette demos). If you decide to navigate to that site (which I hope you will, being as I am a starving artist), I hope you like what you hear and/or feel inclined to buy one of my solo CDs.

Note: My solo CDs are only $6 each. I will never charge more than that for a CD of my original music. I think CDs can and should be less than $8 each. This is the digital age, after all.
